Project Description
STOLEN CAR CHECKER
STOLEN CAR CHECKER application lets you check in several nation police databases and public European databases, this means MORE THAN 3MILLION REPORTED STOLEN VEHICLES, if your car is registered as stolen. And all this WITHOUT SPENDING A CENT.
The application is based on the checking of the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) which, contrary to the registration plate number, cannot be so easily modified.
My Role
I led the design of Stolen Car Checker, iOS and Android since the outset of the project in December 2015.
Up until July 2016, I led efforts to evolve the service and address customer pain‐points related to the browse and discovery experience.

“Very fast and easy to use!!!! I actually didn’t have my I.D. at the time when I needed this app because I had just bought a car but couldn’t put it in my name until my license came in the mail so I just would check the Vin with the app and baaaamm!!!! Told me all I needed to know! THANKS A STOLEN CAR CHECKER!!”
“So freaking cool So basically I have a friend who lent me their « new/used » vehicle for a few days while mine isn’t working. I know she wouldn’t put me in harms way but the people she hangs out with kind of seem a little shady. So, I wanted to put my fears to rest and after a few hours of searching for the most comprehensive database online (FREE) I stumbled upon this. Sleeping well tonight. :-)”
